Feminist Tools for the Future

Ars Electronica Futurelab

Networking Event

2025

Feminist Tools for the Future was launched as a new series of networking events connecting feminists of all genders across art, design, music, culture, entrepreneurship, technology, and government. The goal was to share ideas, experiment with practical methods, explore successes and failures, and identify which tools still need to be invented to drive meaningful change for FLINTA.

First presented at the Ars Electronica Festival 2025 by the Ars Electronica Futurelab, the event fostered collective knowledge-building, interdisciplinary dialogue, and shared experimentation. Participants also engaged with the interactive tool “Citizen Manifesto” to share their visions for a better society.

The insights and ideas generated during the event were summarized in the “Feminist Tools for the Future” Manifesto, capturing the key outcomes and shared visions of the participants.
